Duties / Responsibilities
Providing both the strategic and tactical leadership to ensure financial and operational success for the airline, accountabilities of the role include but not limited to:

Ensure accountability and compliance of business operations to the laws of the land
·
Developing and nurturing key external relations with the Government regulators and political and business leadership to further the Co’s business objectives
·
Establish internal control programs and analyze the day to day operations of the company to ensure business is being run in accordance with stakeholder expectations
·
Ensure the highest standards of Corporate Governance & Business Ethics in the day to day running of the company...
The COO shall be responsible for the following performance areas that include:

The financial performance of the company as represented in the periodic financial statements.
·
The operational performance of the company as represented in terms of capacity utilisation, customer satisfaction and growth.
·
The expansion of the company by developing new routes and destinations
·
The efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes
·
The motivation, development and performance of managers and staff
Job purpose
