Bahrain Airshow: Putting smiles on the faces of children

One of the key aims of the Bahrain Air Show was to give aerospace a higher profile in the eyes of the Bahrainis.

Deputy chairman of the surpeme organising committee Captain Abdul Rahman al Gaoud said that he hoped the show would allow young people to recognise the attraction and excitement of the aviation industry.

Bahrain's national carrier Gulf Air, took the Undersecretary of the CAA at his word and responded by making a special invitation to children from the Al Sanabel orphanage.

And their smiles said it all.
