BAC and EBAA to hold joint IS-BAO workshops in Istanbul

Business aircraft operators are invited to Istanbul a few days before the European Business Aviation Association's (EBAA) Turkey Regional Forum to take part in a Fundamentals of IS-BAO Workshop on 8 October and an IS-BAO Auditing Workshop on 9 October.

The event will take place at the Hilton Istanbul. Conducted by IS-BAO Program Director Jim Cannon, the Fundamentals of IS-BAO Workshop is designed to:

• Assist operators with their IS-BAO implementation efforts, and

• Provide a practical approach to managing an SMS based on ICAO principles.

The IS-BAO Auditor Workshop is designed to:

• Train IS-BAO Auditors to conduct IS-BAO Registration Audits,

• Train IS-BAO Support Services Affiliates and Internal Auditors so they can effectively conduct Internal Evaluations and Gap Analyses, and provide training for anyone interested in validating SMS performance.
