Qualifications

Bachelor of Science/Electrical Engineering is mandatory. A Masters of Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering is preferable.

Experience

Extensive SATCOM experience within highly level requirements.

Skills / Expertise

This role requires a familiarity airborne Satcom systems knowledge, such as antenna theory, baseband subsystmes, and ground segment and data link management systems. Also, knowledge of various airborne platforms is essential. Equipment certification knowledge is required, such as RTCS/DO160 environmental and EMI qualification testing. Experience with Ka-Band technology is highly desirable.
