Abu Dhabi Aviation claims 53% profit rise

Abu Dhabi Aviation, purported to be the region's largest helicopter operator, announced a 53% increase in profit on Sunday the Gulf News reported.

Net profit grew to Dh116.26million, while revenue increased to Dh1.26billion from Dh531.13m.

The Gulf News reported that the company did not give any reasons for the sharp rise in profit, from Dh75.87.

The company operates a fleet of 50 aircraft, comprised of 9 AgustaWestland AW139s, 15 Bell 412s, 19 Bell 212s, 4 Bell 206 JetRangers and 3 DHC-8.
