Lockheed Martin Awarded $1.5B C-130J Multiyear Contract

Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $1.5 billion U.S. Air Force contract modification for C-130J multi-year production aircraft, supporting 14 C-130Js, five HC-130Js, one MC-130J and seven MC-130J aircraft. Work will be performed at Marietta, Georgia, and is expected to be complete by July 31, 2019.

Work complete by Sept. 30, 2017. U.K. DEFENSE MINISTRY committed £372m ($535m) across four contracts (recipients incl. BAE SYSTEMS, ROLLS-ROYCE) for continued in-service support of Hawk trainers. TEXTRON AIRLAND’s Scorpion Jet made its show debut this week at the FIDAE International Air and Space Fair. First production aircraft expected to fly this summer.
