The carrier is serving Scandinavian Mountains Airport, a Swedish airport opened just before COVID-19 hit Europe.

The Scandinavian airline said it was not financially viable to continue operations, blaming a lack of state support.

Routes rounds-up the latest new route announcements, as well as services returning to carrier’s networks.

Just eight scheduled passenger routes are currently operating from the airport and Swedavia believes Stockholm Arlanda could accommodate the traffic.

Airport operator Swedavia has trialled biofuel refuelling operations at five of its airports as it continues to become more sustainable.
