European cargo drone airline Dronamics has signed an agreement with Dubai-based package carrier Aramex to enable same-day and middle-mile deliveries in the UAE.

The letter of intent for a “substantial” number of propulsion systems for delivery from 2026 is part of a memorandum of understanding.

The Black Swan is designed to carry a 770 lb. payload up to 1,550 mi. with up to 50% lower cost than conventional airfreight.

Speaking at the Strategy Summit at World Routes in Chengdu, Steve King, CEO of Black Swan talked the audience through artificial intelligence and the impact it is having on today’s travellers.
