Air India Express is soon launching its first Airbus A321neo services as it prepares to expand its network with new domestic routes in the coming weeks.
The union representing the cabin crewmembers recently wrote to Air India's chairman with a list of grievances related to the pending merger with AirAsia India.
The structure harmonizes employee grades, compensation levels and benefits between Air India Express and AirAsia India, both of which fall under the Tata Group.
Under new owner Tata Group, the Indian carrier expects to open several new hubs across the country and increase its footprint on key long-haul markets.
