Two years after its takeover by the Tata Group, Air India is making good progress on the initiatives it launched to fulfill the new owner’s ambition to restore the carrier to the ranks of top-tier global airlines.
Speaking with ATW at the Farnborough Airshow, CEO Campbell Wilson described the four airline integration as “probably unprecedented” in the aviation industry.
The structure harmonizes employee grades, compensation levels and benefits between Air India Express and AirAsia India, both of which fall under the Tata Group.
