Although no detailed design work has yet been undertaken, Turkish Aerospace (TA) is showing two planned tactical helicopters at the Singapore Airshow, indicating the possible shape of things to come. There’s the multirole heavy combat helicopter, displayed complete with missile and gun armament; and the 10-ton utility helicopter, which bears a certain resemblance to the NH90. Illustrating TA’s high and ambitious workload, the pair are flanked by similar designs now flying: the T129 ATAK attack helicopter and T625 Gokbey rotary-wing transport.
