Dwarfed by the two Thai F-5THs in the static park, the U1-M unmanned air vehicle shares with them the official RTAF inauguration date of Nov.14. Ordered in 2017, 17 of the drones are entering service with Squadron 206 at Watthana Nakhon Air Base. Developed from the Sky Scout made by Thai company RV Connex, U1 has 90% local content and an endurance of 8hr. The exhibit is armed underwing with a pair of Thales FreeFall lightweight multirole missiles (FFLMM).
