Terma Pylons for U.S. Air National Guard F-16s

The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) has awarded an $84 million contract to Terma Denmark for the U.S. Air National Guard and the F-16 System Program Office (SPO). The contract comprises delivery of all new-built hardware: Pylon Integrated Dispensing System Universal (PIDSU), EW core pylons with provisions for future missile warning system installation, flare-up kits and test adapters.

The expected five-year delivery period will start in late 2020. Terma business development director John Rygaard says:

“This program will potentially pave the way for additional export contracts from other F-16 countries. The European F-16s are already equipped with PIDS+.”
