Constant Aviation now boasts an AOG mobile response network with 50 technicians able to deploy in more than 30 mobile units from 24 strategically located base stations.
The Constant AOG teams are able to deploy service aircraft on the ground at remote airports possessing little permanent maintenance infrastructure. They can handle 86 aircraft models from 14 manufacturers, working from vehicles fully to service aircraft “wherever they are located,” the company says, “in a hangar, at an FBO or on a ramp.”
Beyond the U.S., Constant AOG technicians have over the past year serviced aircraft stranded in the Bahamas, Mexico, the Virgin Islands and the Dominican Republic.

Constant Aviation said earlier this year that the U.S. FAA has accepted its procedures as being in “active conformance” with the agency’s Part 5 voluntary SMS/safety management system program, thereby ranking Constant Aviation “among the leaders nationally in business aviation maintenance safety and risk mitigation.”
The company said further that it’s “only the fourth MRO out of the more than 4,500 maintenance organizations nationally and the first independent business jet MRO Part 145 repair station to achieve this designation.”
The company said in April that it’s been operating under the SMS guidelines and that that, year over year, it has reduced incident severity and workplace injuries by better than 55%. “In addition,” Constant said, “the company has experienced a reduction in incident costs of over 200% and a direct cost savings of over $250,000.”
