Satair strengthens its support to Middle East customers with an extra set of hands in Dubai
With the Middle East predicted to lead the global aviation growth over the next four years and an estimated aviation contribution of 37,5% to Dubai’s GDP by 2020, it is no coincidence that Satair now ramps up its regional presence. Key Account Manager at Satair, Martin Couët, will be stationed at Satair Group’s Middle East office in Dubai as of March 1 2015 to strengthen the support for the fast growing aviation hub.
Mr. Couët has been responsible for the region's customers for more than four years and has up until now been based at the headquarter in Copenhagen.
Morten Olsen, Vice-President of Satair Sales and Product Management at Satair Group comments: “Dubai is a leading global aviation centre and proximity to customers is key to a successful business partnership – notably in the Middle East region. Having Martin based in Dubai will allow Satair to continue developing and providing pertinent solutions and support to both our customers and the OEMs that we represent and do business with."
Satair has been supporting Middle East operators and MROs for over 40 years and has stock in Dubai Airport Free Zone since 2008.
"We are looking into investing even further into our range of parts in Dubai to better support airlines and MRO needs. The Middle East plays a transformational role in the global aviation network as a result of its favourable geographic position as a hub to key emerging economic markets - and we want to not only keep up but to be at the forefront of these market developments ," Mr. Olsen ends.
