Satair A/S Expands Eaton Portfolio with Distribution of Engine Fuel Pump LRUs in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific

Through a new agreement with power management company Eaton, Satair A/S, world leader in sales and distribution of spares for aircraft maintenance, has been selected as the exclusive distributor for a specific set of Eaton line replaceable unit engine fuel pump part numbers in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. The agreement became effective Jan. 1.

The agreement with Eaton, one of the world’s premier aerospace manufacturers, is exclusive for five years and covers main engine fuel pumps for short-, medium- and long-haul aircraft. The agreement with Satair covers seven complete pump line replaceable units for which Satair´s regional stock ensures parts availability in close proximity to customers. The balance of Eaton's fuel pump support remains unaffected and will continue through the normal distribution channel.

Eaton and Satair have maintained a successful business relationship since 1947, when Satair began distributing Eaton's Aeroquip® product line. In addition to engine fuel pumps, Satair is the exclusive distributor of Eaton product lines for fuel systems and motion control.

“Eaton's fuel systems, motion control and Aeroquip® product lines have already been part of Satair's portfolio for a number of years," said Steen Karsbo, Vice-President of Business Partner Development at Satair Group. "Satair’s deep and comprehensive collaboration with Eaton and our experience with Eaton products enable us to serve the needs of Eaton customers with world-class excellence. Eaton’s mindset of balancing growth and innovation with individualized customer attention is an approach that fits perfectly into the Satair way of doing business.”

"Satair is a strong, customer-centric, global and service-minded organisation with the logistic management skills needed for efficient order handling required by our customers," said Mark Morrow, Manager of Market Channels and Distribution for Eaton's Aerospace Group. "We are pleased to continue our relationship with Satair in this new agreement, and we are confident that our customers will be well served by the availability of Satair's local product stock in warehouses in Copenhagen and Singapore."
