Northwest to convert options for 30 A320s

Northwest Airlines said it plans to convert options on 30 A320 family aircraft into firm orders. The decision affects options agreed to as part of a 1997 purchase agreement and calls for 18 A319s and 12 A320s. Northwest will have ordered 150 A320 family aircraft, of which 70 have been delivered...
