EASA has withdrawn proposed airworthiness directive 17-130 for Airbus A320-family jets to update and reissue instructions in a new PAD.
EASA has issued safety information bulletin CE-17-19 for all airplanes with cabin altitude encoder Sandia SAE5-35 or Garmin GAE 43, recommending evaluation of the configuration of the installation of the encoder.
EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2017-0188 for Airbus A380s, requiring inspection of fuselage frame 94 upper shell, effective Oct. 6.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2017-0192 for Recaro 3510A and 3510D seats, requiring modification, effective Oct. 12.
EASA has issued proposed airworthiness directive 17-133 for Rolls-Royce Tay 650-15s and Tay 651-54s, requiring Identification and replacement of low pressure compressor fan blades, effective 14 days after airworthiness directive is issued.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2017-19-26 for certain Boeing 737-600s, -700s, -700Cs, -800s and -900s, reducing an earlier AD’s post-modification inspection compliance times, limiting installation of preventive modification to airplanes with fewer than 30,000 total flight cycles and adding repetitive inspections for modified airplanes, effective Oct. 30.
FAA has issued special airworthiness information bulletin NE-17-26 alerting owners and operators of aircraft equipped with an Avidyne TAS600A, TAS600, and 9900BX traffic advisory system of concern regarding display of intruder aircraft vertical trend indications.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2017-19-18 for certain Rolls-Royc Tay 620-15s, reducing the maximum approved life limit, effective Oct. 31.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2017-19-19 for certain Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-75s, Trent XWB-79s, Trent XWB-79Bs and Trent XWB-84s, requiring replacement of the low-pressure compressor case support inboard pins, effective Oct. 11.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2017-19-05 for certain Siemens S.A.S. smoke detectors installed on various transport category airplanes, requiring inspection and replacement of the affected smoke detectors, effective Oct. 31.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2017-20-02, clarifying an earlier AD for all Airbus A330-200s, A330-300s, A340-200s, A340-300s, A340-500s and A340-600s, which required an inspection, corrective actions if necessary, lubrication of the ball-nut, modification of the trimmable horizontal stabilizer actuator and additional work for previously modified airplanes, and for certain airplanes, installation of an electronic harness, terminating actions, and a ball-screw assembly inspection, effective Oct. 12.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2017-19-27 for certain Bombardier DHC-8-401s and -402s, requiring replacement of spoiler power control unit manifolds, effective Nov. 1.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2017-19-24 for all Airbus A318s, A319s, A320s and A321s, revising the maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate new or revised airworthiness limitation requirements, effective Nov. 1.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2017-2017-19-16 for certain RB211 Trent 553-61s, Trent 553A2-61s, Trent 556-61s, Trent 556A2-61s, Trent 556B-61s, Trent 556B2-61s, Trent 560-61s and Trent 560A2-61s, requiring replacement of the low-pressure compressor case A-frame hollow locating pins, effective Oct. 13.

Transport Canada has issued airworthiness directive CF-2017-30, for Bombardier DHC-8-301s, -311s, -314s and -315s, serial numbers 100 through 672, to remedy forward right emergency exit hardware corrosion, effective Sept. 13.
