BAE Systems’ aftermarket service and support covers many platforms throughout the program life cycle. Commercial aircraft flying with BAE’s aircraft electronics include Boeing and Airbus airliners, regional and business aircraft by Bombardier and Embraer, and Sikorsky helicopters. BAE Systems provides spares and asset management as well as maintenance, repair and overhaul for a variety of aircraft electronics, including engine controls, flight controls, flight deck systems, electrical distribution systems, airframe systems and controls and monitoring, cabin systems, detection and alerting systems, data distribution and test equipment and technical service.

Dukane Seacom, a Heico company, offers a 90-day underwater locator beacon (ULB) certified by both the FAA and European Aviation Safety Agency and which has TSO/ETSO-C121b authorization. The Dukane Seacom ULB has a seven-year battery replacement cycle, and its extended battery life aligns the product with both recorder and aircraft maintenance cycles. An exchange program is being offered for airlines that would like to convert from 30-day beacons through Dukane Seacom's distribution partner, Seal Dynamics, also a Heico company.

The Hydro MLGT52 from Hydro Systems is used for the removal, installation and transportation of the single-axle main landing gear without brake and wheels. The vertical movement is electrical; all other movements are hand-operated through spindle adjustment. During the whole procedure, the landing gear is secured by an adapter to enhance operational safety. EASA-certified by Lufthansa Technik AG, the MLGT52 offers removal and installation procedures for Airbus A319, A320 and A321 aircraft. A universal main landing gear trolley will soon be available for the removal, installation and transportation of both A320 and Boeing 737-family main landing gears.
