2031 Global Military Aircraft Fleet Expected To Increase By 5.1%
Despite the enduring challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been few signs of a slowdown in the military aircraft market over the last 18 months, with global demand remaining strong.
As a result, over the next 10 years the new forecast projects that 18,482 military aircraft worth $823.7 billion will be delivered to operators around the world.
Simultaneously the global fleet of military aircraft is expected to increase by 5.1% by the end of 2031, rising from 54,497 in 2021 to 57,266. Most of that growth is expected to come from Asia, with the number of aircraft in service in the Asia-Pacific expected to increase by 10.2%, and to grow by 18.8% in South Asia.
