Two years ago, Air Partner, a global aviation services group, says it became the first private aviation firm to offer its JetCard members a fixed rate for travel to Europe and other overseas destinations, through its Transatlantic JetCard. Designed for the frequent international traveler, the key benefits include a fully inclusive, competitively priced hourly rate, and a 15% discount for qualifying round trips.

Air Partner’s also provides aviation safety and security solutions to industry, governments and private individuals through two divisions—Air Partner Charter and Air Partner Safety and Security, which includes Baines Simmons and recently acquired Redline Assured Security.

In addition to private jets, Air Partner will charter large airliners for group transportation. Air Partner’s Freight Department will arrange cargo charters on any size aircraft.

Solairus Aviation Launches App-Based Customer Interaction

Business aircraft management, charter and charter brokerage firm Solairus Aviation has just launched an app that enables customers to select and book charters without the need to interact with a representative. With brokerage about 70% of its charter business, the company plans to expand mobile apps as they become increasingly popular with its customer base.

Solairus Aviation says its “Altitude 25” jet membership program offers its charter customers greater flexibility and less restrictions than competitive plans—among them the option of deducting the cost of a trip from the member’s available account balance. Based in California, but doing business throughout the U.S., the company works with 125 approved operators of mostly large cabin business jets.

Charter is booming. Since the fourth quarter of 2020, the industry has witnessed explosive growth because airline service has been reduced, and there is a persistent feeling among many that they are safer on a private aircraft.

As competition ramps up, charter brokers are adding more services and enhanced features.
