Business aircraft utilization at NetJets, Flexjet, Vistajet and FlyExclusive rose in the three months from June to August 2024 when compared to the same period in 2023. Utilization was also up when compared to 2019, according to Tracked Aircraft Utilization data from the Aviation Week Intelligence Network. Wheels Up utilization declined for the period, down 21% compared to the three-month period in 2023 and down 1% from the same period in 2019.
Significantly larger in fleet size to the other featured operators, NetJets cumulated just over 170,000 hrs. during the period, having flown more than 55,000 hrs. per month consistently since February 2024. The leading business carrier had reached a record high of just over 60,000 hrs. in March and May 2024 alone.
