India has announced plans to build nine more long-endurance UAVs following the successful flight of the Rustom-II, meant to boost the country’s homeland security.

The Indian air force has granted initial operational clearance to the upgraded Sepecat Jaguar ground attack aircraft.

India’s Rustom-II UAV successfully completed its first flight on Nov. 16, “meeting all expectations,” a defense ministry official says.
