Informa Markets Asia Unveils Super Terminal Expo

LE BOURGET—A “groundbreaking” new event is being launched to bring together professionals from the aviation, shipping, rail and road industries.

Super Terminal Expo, organized by Informa Markets Asia, will offer networking opportunities, educational sessions, and insights into the latest trends and technologies shaping the future of cargo and passenger terminals. The event will make its debut in Hong Kong in November 2024.

Speaking at a press conference at the Paris Air Show, Informa Markets EVP commercial development Michael Duck said Super Terminal Expo will foster the exchange of ideas and best practices, driving progress and growth across interconnected industries.

“It will serve as a platform for businesses to showcase their latest products and services, expanding their networks and learning from the best,” he said. “The Asia-Pacific region is the largest global logistics and passenger transport market. 

“This thriving market presents numerous opportunities for businesses to tap into the growing demand for logistics and passenger transportation services. Super Terminal Expo aims to help businesses unlock their potential in this rapidly expanding market.”

AsiaWorld-Expo, part of the Hong Kong Airport City development, will serve as the venue for the Super Terminal Expo 2024, while the Airport Authority of Hong Kong is the strategic partner.

Aviation Week Network, which is an Informa company, will be the official media partner. Paul Burton, managing director, APAC at Aviation Week Network, expressed confidence that the expo would serve as a catalyst for new partnerships, collaborations, and breakthroughs in the industry.

“Hong Kong is a hub for this kind of activity,” he said. “The Airport City concept is absolutely first-class and something I’m really proud to associate Aviation Week Network with.”

The event will an exhibit area, seminars, panel discussions and keynote speeches on trends, technologies, and best practices for cargo and passenger terminals.
