WORLD ROUTES 2011: More than Just Meetings!

While the main focus of Routes events remains the meetings which take place between airports, airlines and other industry stakeholders, the value of informal networking should not be overlooked. The Networking Village at World Routes provides countless opportunities for delegates to meet new and existing contacts in a social and, often, fun environment.

Hosted Networking Stand holders are being cleverer each year with their design and incentives and with many of them now taking up the offer of strategic meetings at their stand the need for intelligent design is imperative. The design of the stands are more striking to visitors year-on-year with many including private rooms for the formal one-to-one meetings and most offering refreshments, good entertainment and of course inclusion in the ‘Visit Me’ airline prize draw, and this year promises to be better than ever.

"There will be some amazing stands at World Routes in Berlin, many of whom will have some very exciting activities going on," said Susan Willis, Marketing & Analysis Manager for UBM Aviation, Routes. ‘We find the ‘Visit Me’ promotion is a great way for our Hosted Networking Stand holders to gain a real return on investment and generate increased footfall to their stand."
