Wataniya announces first European service

Wataniya Airways has announced its first scheduled services to Europe with new non-stop flights from Kuwait City to Rome. The new service will commence from May 31st and will be operated on a 3x weekly rotation with A320 aircraft. National carrier Kuwait Airways currently operates a 4x weekly service on a market that has seen over 27,000 O+D passengers in the 12 months between Jan 09-10.
