Video: HKIA Chairman Outlines Growth Vision
Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) chairman Fred Lam explains the airport's plans to grow into a sustainable destination for commerce and tourism.
HKIA is a major economic driver for the island, employing about 78,000 staff and connecting to 220 destinations globally. The airport already has over 220 shops and 60 restaurants, and aims to grow its commerce and tourism offering for both leisure and business travellers.
Lam was speaking ahead of his involvement in Super Terminal Expo, which takes place in Hong Kong and will bring together leading stakeholders from the airport, development and construction, and investment communities from 5-7 November 2024.
