US carriers announce new routes

US Airways has announced that it will start operating to Telluride, Colorado from December 17th. The new route will be a seasonal service operated from its base in Phoenix and will be operated with Dash 8 aircraft.

Elsewhere, Delta Airlines annouced that it will commence a New York Freeport service from December 18th on a 4x weekly rotation.

Jetblue Airways is to bolster its base in SFO and will add daily rotations to Fort Lauderdale, Boston and NYC as the carrier responds to Virgin America.
