Tokyo and Amsterdam- New for Emirates
Emirates continues its expansion plans, with a new service from Dubai to Tokyo from March 28, followed by a daily to Amsterdam Schiphol on May 1.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, chairman and chief executive, Emirates Airline & Group, said: "Amsterdam is already an important offline market for Emirates and we know there is significant passenger traffic heading from Amsterdam to Dubai and onto Africa, the Indian Sub-continent, Asia and the Far East."
Gigie Baroa, Emirates’ Philippines Country Manage added: "This new flight service between Dubai and Amsterdam is expected to increase the population of Filipino tourists and workers in the Dutch capital and in other parts of the Netherlands."
Recently, the carrier announced it will also connect its Middle East hub with Prague (July 2), Madrid (Aug 1) and Dakar.
