Tiger Arrives in Brisbane

As well as building up its base in Melbourne, Tiger Airways has just taken its network expansion to Brisbane, Queensland over the weekend - with three new routes added to Melbourne, Adelaide and Rockhampton.

All three new routes departed Brisbane on Sunda, with up to three daily flights between Brisbane and Melbourne, daily flights between Brisbane and Adelaide and daily flights between Brisbane and Rockhampton.

Tiger Airways Australia's MD, Shelley Roberts said the airline’s rapid expansion across Australia was very exciting at a time when so many competitors were cutting back and increasing air fares. “There’s no doubt about it, we are bucking the trend, we are adding new aircraft, new routes and creating more jobs,” she said.
