Singapore to add Munich

Singapore Airlines has announced new planned service from Singapore to Munich which will be operated from 28th March on a 5x weekly basis with B777 aircraft.

The new route will, in part, replace the current Singapore-Manchester 3x weekly non stop service, as the new 5x weekly service will have an extension to Manchester as the carrier appears to have gained 5th freedom access through Munich, also meaning two extra weekly services for the North of England gateway.

Munich will be the 12th European destintation for Singapore Airlines which operates 85 weekly services from South East Asia with its leading destinations being London Heathrow 21x weekly flights and Frankfurt, 14x weekly flights.
