Receive industry recognition for your efforts in route development marketing
The Routes Asia Marketing Awards presents you with the opportunity to recognise your airport partners’ achievements, helping set the benchmark for your industry and reward the most effective campaigns.
Voting is now open and airlines can submit their votes online. Airlines can nominate up to five airports who they believe deserve recognition for their marketing efforts alongside a tourism organisation that has provided the best destination marketing campaign over the past 12 months.
When voting airlines should consider airports and destinations whose marketing efforts, over the last 12 months, have made a real impact on their future network development plans. Their market research activities, marketing communications, business case presentations and joint communication campaigns with third parties should all be taken into account. In order to take part in the voting process, airline executives must be involved in network planning and registered on Routesonline.
Once the airline network planning community has voted, the votes will be counted and the shortlisted airports and destinations contacted and asked for a submission to support their nomination. This submission process is designed to enable the shortlisted airports to provide information for the judging panel as to why they think they should win the award, providing evidence to support their case.
The winners of Routes Asia 2016 Marketing Awards will be announced at the Routes Asia 2016 Networking Evening, which will take place at the Blue Leaf Filipinas in Manila on Monday 7th March. The overall winner will also be automatically shortlisted for the World Routes Marketing Awards in Chengdu.
