Niki to increase capacity

The Vienna based LCC is due to add several new destinations in 2010 following recent expansion plans that will see its current fleet of 11 increased to 17 from May next year. The carrier has already began its expansion with November seeing an increase in its network with services being added to both Las Palmas and Nuremburg as part of its winter schedule.

Niki's expansion will see it enter the fast growing LCC market at Copenhagen with a 6 weekly service to Vienna next March.

Other new destinations announced as part of the expansion include Sofia, Belgrade and Bucharest all due to start in Feb10 with further expansions to Nice and Barcelona - both due to commence on 26Mar10.
