AIRLINE REQUIREMENTS:

Monarch is planning for S11 and W11/12 onwards.

The airline has provided information it would like to see from airports:

  • Airports should be armed with the incentives they believe they can offer airlines, with any advice from their tourism authorities on whether or not they are prepared to play an active/joint role in offering incentives for increasing their lift from the UK and work with new airlines.
  • Top of everyone's list is how best operating costs can be reduced at airports that Monarch already have a presence at, along with finding ways to organically grow air lift or gain a foothold into new airports, markets and countries.
  • Data is welcomed on airfield capabilities and a list of current UK airlines that serve their airport would be advantageous.
  • Monarch airlines is particularly focused on growing long-haul routes.
  • Before World Routes, the airline welcomes any questions ahead of one-to-one meetings in order to maximise the benefits from discussions.
