Malaysian LCC to serve Sri Lanka

Malaysian low cost-carrier AirAsia is launching daily Kuala Lumpur-Colombo flights on 15 August.

AirAsia will use its 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft on the new route, the carrier says in a statement announcing the 15 August launch of the Kuala Lumpur-Colombo service.

Colombo is AirAsia's third destination in the Indian subcontinent after Dhaka, Bangladesh and Tiruchirappalli in south India.
