Mahan Air to launch new Thai route

The national airline of Iran, Mahan Air, has announced a new non stop service to Bangkok. Mahan which had previously been blacklisted to fly to the EU, will serve BKK from the city of Mashad. The new route will be operated on a twice weekly rotation with A310-300 aircraft. Mahan Air currently serves Bangkok on a 6x weekly rotation from Tehran (IKA) and from THR on a 4x weekly rotation.
