Lillie's location means that the airport is able to capture traffic in Northern France and Western Belgium.

Lille is the third largest city in France and has a young, dynamic population of 100,000 students. The city has a total population of 1.5 million people and a large catchment area of 12 million within a 30-minute drive of the city.

FACILITIES:

Lille Airport's existing terminal has capacity for 2.2mppa and plans are in place to extend this to 5 million per year.

The facility can also offer 30-minute turnaround times for aircraft.

UNSERVED ROUTES/KEY MARKET OPPORTUNITIES:

The airport has outlined potential new markets to the North West of England -Manchester and Liverpool are key targets.

Other potential destinations include Krakow, due to the large Polish community of roughly 400,000 people that live and work in Lille, and Prague, due to leisure demand.
