Jetstar to launch Melbourne to Brisbane service

Qantas subsidiary, Jetstar will launch a new twice- daily non stop scheduled service from its Melbourne base to Brisbane.

Jetstar will operate the route using A320 equipment and will go head-to-head with the following carriers on the sector:

• Virgin Blue: 88x weekly
• Qantas: 105 x weekly

China Eastern also operates an extension of its service into Melbourne with onward service to Brisbane.
