Jazeera to open Syria service

Middle Eastern low cost carrier Jazeera has announced that it will commence a new scheduled service from its main operating base of Kuwait City (KWI) to the Syrian port city of Latakia.

The new route will start from December 15th on a 3x weekly basis with A320 aircraft. The new service will be the first scheduled link between the two city pairs.

There is however scheduled service from Kuwait City to a number of points in Syria.

  • Kuwait- Aleppo- 6 weekly flights operated by Jazeera Airways
  • Kuwait- Damascus - Jazeera operating 28 weekly flights.
  • Kuwait Airways operates 13 weekly flights
  • Wataniya operates 8 weekly flights
  • Syrianair offers eleven weekly flights.

There is also scheduled flights from Kuwait to Deirezzor operated 8x weekly by Jazeera Airways.
