JAL Express to operate Beijing
In the face of the economic downturn and the major restructuring of its airlines, Japan Airlines will now leave subisdary carrier JAL Express to operate between Osaka and Beijing. From January 12th 2010 JAL Express will operate 737-800 aircraft on the route whereas JAL has been operating B767 historically. JAL faces strong competion on the route from Air China which currently operates a 2x daily rotation, generally with B737 aircraft however employing larger aircraft such as B767 and B777-200.
