Iceland Express to open Reykjavik - Birmingham link in 2010

Although an official starting date has not been confirmed, the airline plans to run a weekly service for 13 weeks.

Iceland Express' fleet consists of Boeing 737-700s operated by ACMI specialist Astraeus Airlines.

Both Iceland Express and Astraeus are subsidiaries of Icelandic company Eignarhaldsfelagid Fengur.
