Iberia increases Florida services

Iberia will increase its scheduled non-stop service from Madrid to Miami from the present 7x weekly to 10x weekly service effective from July 2nd and operated with A340-300 aircraft.

Iberia competes on the sector with American Airlines which also offers a daily rotation and Air Europa which serves Miami 4x weekly.

IATA BSP data (Airport IS) shows that over 90,000 O+D passengers have flown the route between jan 09-10 with AA leading the passenger share carrying 50% of the market.
