Hong Kong Airlines to serve Taiwan

As part of the increase cross-straits agreement, Hong Kong Airlines will begin services to Taipei by the end of the year.

The trunk route saw over 4 million passengers fly between HKG and TPE in the twelve month period fro April 09-10.

Flag carriers China Airlines and Cathay Pacific, dominated market share in this period, with China Airlines carrying 35% of this traffic and Cathay Pacific 32%.
