Hainan Airlines in international expansion.

Hainan Airlines has moved to expand its growing international network and has applied for the rights to serve three new markets in South East Asia.

The carrier has plans to launch a 4x weekly service to Cebu, Phillipines from both Shanghai and Beijing. In addition, Hainan wishes to add new services to Ho Chi Minh City from Hangzhou on a daily rotation and a 3x weekly Hangzhou Bangkok service slated to commence in March 2010. The carrier will operate B737-800 aircraft on these routes.
