flydubai adds two new routes

Dubai based low cost carrier flydubai will start new non-stop services to Istanbul and Assiut, Egpyt.

It will operate to Istanbul on a five times weekly rotation from June 11th with A320 aircraft. Its parent company Emirates operates an 11x weekly service, and the carrier will compete with Turkish Airlines which operates a double daily, Singapore Airlines also operates an extension flight between the city pairs.

Assiut is currently not served from Dubai on a non-stop scheduled basis.
