Delta hints at ATL move.
Atlanta based Delta Air Lines has warned the airport that if an agreement cannot be reached regarding the cost of the new International Terminal. The carrier has warned that around over 60% of its hub and spoke flights in Atlanta could be routed via other points including Memphis, Cincinnati and Detroit. Rising operating costs at ATL would make certain flights unproftiable to operate and therefore the carrier is willing to look at alternate airports where it can operate with a lower cost base.
