Delta to fly to Liberia

Delta Air Lines has announced that it plans to commence a new scheduled service from its hub in Atlanta to Monrovia, Liberia effective September 4th. The flight will be operated once weekly and will have a scheduled stopover in Accra, Ghana.

There is currently no scheduled service between the US and Liberia. Delta Air Lines will compete against the following carriers on the Accra- Monrovia service

• Kenya Airways
• Ethiopian Airlines
• Nigeria Eagle Airlines

IATA BSP data shows limited traffic flow between Liberia and the US.
