CO begins BD codeshare

Fresh from entering the Star Alliance yesterday, Continental Airlines and UK based BMI have announced a joint venture to codeshare on CO transatlantic flights.

BMI recently pulled its transatlantic services out of Manchester and has re-focused its London Heathrow hub to operate more east-bound services. With CO having over 50 weekly services between the US and Europe the JV gives BMI passengers access to more US destinations from various European points, whilst CO passengers can connect onto new destinations from LHR onto BMI ever changing network.
