Chinese Freighter to ser ve US market.

Chinese cargo carrier Yangtze River Express plans to launch long-haul freighter services to the USA using Boeing 747 freighters.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) says Yangtze River Express has applied for permission to launch a service on 20 September on the Shanghai Pudong-Anchorage-New York-Chicago-Anchorage-Shanghai Pudong routing.

It plans to use 747 freighters for the thrice-weekly service
