China Southern to operate Maldives.

China Southern from 27SEP09 launches 2 weekly Guangzhou - Male service. Initially the service is being operated by Airbus A330-200 for the first 2 weeks (for China's Independence Day holiday, which lasts 7 days), then switching to Boeing 757.

The new service will be the first scheduled non stop service between Guangzhou and Male.
